StageW is turning on a spotlight in Wisconsin.
This spotlight will do three very important things:
- Unify Wisconsin and make living here better for everyone
- Give center stage back to the people of Wisconsin; people who have been virtually silenced by special interest groups.
- Reveal plans for how to create jobs and improve education in Wisconsin.
Keep reading to see how StageW plans to do this, and how you can help.
Why is it important to give center stage back to the people of Wisconsin?
In recent years special interest groups have stolen the political spotlight. Our quality of life suffers when special interest groups have the strongest voice. As a state we are last in entrepreneurial job start-ups, while major employers are leaving the state. Meanwhile schools are struggling to fill positions and great teachers are either leaving the state or choosing other professions. One educator we spoke to said she is embarrassed to tell people she’s a teacher because of how people perceive educators in Wisconsin. All of this needs to change.
We seek to unify the state and shine the spotlight back where it belongs – on the people of our state. We do this by:
- Canvasing the state and listening to people with diverse perspectives;
- Responding to their feedback with innovative and specific solutions;
- Presenting these solutions to public officials, policy makers and community leaders;
- Inspiring progress by modeling how to have fruitful conversations even when, at first, we disagree.
What are our plans for creating jobs and improving education?
These two sections of our website present innovative and specific solutions to bring WisconsinAlive™with great jobs and great education. Our plan is called “W-Alive™.”

W-Alive™ Highlights
Recruit & Retain College Graduates – StageW wants to bring WisconsinAlive™ with young college graduates ready to make their mark on the world. We think Wisconsin can recruit talented young people to grow roots in our state by allowing them to pay off student loans with the money they would have used to pay state income taxes. It works like this: New graduates employed in Wisconsin for at least six months of uninterrupted full-time employment would be eligible to apply 100% of their state income tax due that year, and in all years following when they are employed full-time, to the repayment of student debt until your debt is completely paid off. Will our leaders take our plan seriously and stop the exodus of our most valuable resources?
Build On Our Strengths – StageW™ wants to bring WisconsinAlive™ with great jobs throughout the state. While the rest of the country battles over controlling the next high-tech industrial park, W-Alive focuses Wisconsin on staking its claim to global leadership supplying customers with the sustainable technologies and applications needed to eat, drink, breath, create power and thrive in every climate throughout the world.
