StageW™ Presents: KitchenTable™ Conversations
Questions Up For Discussion:
Do poor folks just want handouts?
Do rich folks just want poor folks trapped in poverty?
Do poor folks just want handouts?
Do rich folks just want poor folks trapped in poverty?
Help StageW unify Wisconsin – If you want real answers to these questions, we’re hosting a series of conversations around the state of Wisconsin called “KitchenTable™ Conversations.” We hope to inspire desperately needed progress against a wide variety of issues that are dividing our state.
We’re challenging you – Come sit across the table from folks living lives very different from yours to discuss questions likely to make everyone a little uncomfortable at first. But, if you treat these KitchenTable Conversations just like you would a conversation around your own kitchen table, we’re confident what you learn will challenge your thinking, open your heart and set the stage for real progress. All you have to do is come to the table open to listening, sharing, and considering the actual life experiences of others.
StageW’s kitchen is open to everybody:
When: Thursday, November 17th, 2016
Time: 7:00 PM to 8:00 PM
Where: Sherman Perk Coffee Shop, 4924 W Roosevelt Drive, Milwaukee WI

Meet the neighbors you don’t know – StageW wants you to take a moment to connect, make eye contact and catch up on the day. You will quickly learn that we are neighbors and we owe each other a terrible loyalty. (Watch our video)
We have a few rules –
1) You must come to KitchenTable Conversations willing to engage in a constructive dialog.
2) All KitchenTable Conversations will be filmed so that others can learn from what we discuss. This is an experiment to see if we can capture real conversations to model how honest conversations can happen in healthy and beneficial ways. Let us know if this causes you to not want to participate.
3) Everyone participating in KitchenTable Conversations must sign a release prior to beginning the dialog that authorizes StageW use the videos as examples of how to have productive discussions that set a new tone for inspired progress.
These conversations might be life changing – KitchenTable Conversations might cause you to have to admit to yourself and then to others that you “got it wrong.” Then, you and others might have to get involved to “help make it right.” Are you ready for this?
StageW is ready – We want to make living in Wisconsin better for all of our residents. StageW has plans to bring WisconsinAlive™ with job creation and great education. Ours is a grassroots effort. You help us by sharing our emails with everyone you know; liking our Facebook page; sharing our posts; following us on Twitter and; by making contributions that help us further our mission. You make progress possible.
Will you be holding any other Kitchen Conversations in 2017?
Hi, Christine Hill:
