More To Life Than Bars
KitchenTable Conversations courageously takes on the issues dividing Wisconsin. Every month people living very different lives, but who care deeply about Wisconsin, gather around “our kitchen table” to listen and consider the perspectives of others and to share some perspectives of their own.  This month the topics include:
  • Are there alternatives to putting people convicted of nonviolent crimes behind bars?
  • Are criminals still criminals after they’ve served their time?
  • Should people with a criminal record be required to disclose this history to future employers?
KitchenTable Conversations
KitchenTable Conversations is a comfortable place for a conversation you’ll never forget. Watch this short video that explains how KitchenTable Conversations work:
Take a fresh look
The issues dividing Wisconsin are complicated when you see them from a distance.  But when you’re looking into the eyes of someone living them, day after day, the real issues become clear and it’s possible to being working toward real solutions.

It’s okay to disagree

We want to demonstrate that it’s possible to respect our differences and still unite around ways that will make living in Wisconsin better for everyone.
